My New Blog

Yea it's that time of the year again when you go to holiday partys and you get to listen to the other realtors yack about the market, what they know and how great they are, and how stupid all their sellers are, and by the way, they don't even read their own trade journals or the "like" and yes, you have to stand there and listen to their spew and pray that someone else will walk up and join into the going no place in a hurry conversation of market Einsteins "realtors that know everything", so I can slip away.

But then when my mind settles and I process all the bull doodle I just heard I think it's the realtor who doesn't get it. These know it alls blame their sellers for such things as over pricing, not conditioning the home, making it difficult to show and one excuse after the other to why their listing is unsold.

So, I believe your the problem, yea you the agent, the know it all realtor with your 40 hour license and part time work ethic who obviously can't communicate to the level to connect the message to your client of what it will take to get their home sold. I can tell you this, I've never been forced, held by gun point, by any seller to take their listing, spend my time and money and knowledge and professional services without agreeing to do so.

So there you have it. A realtor who complains about your very own client, you're the problem. You complain about the very thing you permit, walk away from the listing but don't you dare lead a seller out uneducated and miss informed because you can't communicate to the level of connecting and then complain about it.

Now before I get hung by the real estate community let me say, there are really great realtors out there.  About 1 out of every 10 that are excellent and worthy of what they do to serve their clients, and it's that agent you want to hire. One that can truley communicate to their client clearly in a manner that connects.
