Many home sellers believe running ads on their home will make it sell.  Well, I'm not going to say advertising doesn't make the home sell any better.  If you're educated as to how ads are different than marketing, so choose agents carefully.  Some are ad runners, the good ones are marketers.  Here's one example, as a seller you want to see your home advertised regularly right?  Well after all you're paying a lot of money in commissions and you want to see something your broker is doing since you never here from them. Now become the buyer, they too see ads and they too ask questions and draw conclusions similiar to these. That home has been for sale forever, they have been trying to sell that home for sometime, we still see that one for sale, is there something wrong with it, something must be wrong with it, what do you think is wrong with it, and so on.  It's called Physcological Depressionation.

Here's a thought, if running a ad is what will sell your home why not just do it yourself and save all the commission dollars. Does your ad invite buyers to see it or just solidify that you're still unsold. There is more to selling a home than just putting a sign in the yard and a ad in the paper and posting it online.  How a great agent works will determine how they'll work for you.  So if you really want to know what sells a home, call us 987-8600 will show you.
